Privacy Policy

The short version

VibeGear runs entirely in your browser. Text you diff, escape, or transform is never sent anywhere. The only network calls the extension makes are to check your subscription status and to open the payment page.

What we store

• A random anonymous ID (UUID)generated on install, kept in your browser’s local storage. It’s used as the key for your trial + subscription state.
• Subscription records — tied only to that UUID and to the customer details Paddle collects at checkout (name, email, billing country). Paddle is the merchant of record; see Paddle’s privacy policy for how they handle billing data.

What we don’t store

• The text you paste into the extension.
• Diff results, JSON content, JWTs, or any tool output.
• Your browsing history or any site content.

Third parties

• Paddle — handles payment, billing, and tax as merchant of record.
• Vercel — hosts this site and the entitlement API.
• Upstash — stores the UUID → subscription status mapping in an encrypted key-value store.

Your rights
